Sir Charles Udoh is a senior Nigerian public-sector leader and strategic advisor with over three decades of experience spanning banking, consulting, entrepreneurship, and government.
I currently serve as Delivery Advisor on Tourism to the Governor of Akwa Ibom State, supporting strategic thinking and delivery around tourism and hospitality development.
My current work sits within a broader ambition to strengthen tourism as an economic, cultural and destination-development opportunity.
My public-service responsibilities remain distinct from my private advisory interests, and any private engagement is undertaken subject to applicable rules, responsibilities and conflict-of interest requirements.

Key initiatives included Christmas Unplugged, Destination Akwa Ibom, the Unity Park Amphitheatre concept, and the restoration of the old slave boat at Marina Beach through PPP.
Public-Sector Reform & Revenue Innovation
As Commissioner across Environment, Solid Minerals, and Petroleum Resources, led major reforms, environmental interventions, and revenue growth initiatives, including outdoor advertising guideline review, forestry reserve reforms, dredging regulation, and multi-billion-naira environmental control projects.
Banking & Brand Leadership
Held senior leadership roles in FirstBank, GTBank, Diamond Bank, and Wema Bank, leading brand strategy, communications, digital marketing innovation, customer-facing campaigns, and cost optimisation.
Tourism & Hospitality Transformation
Currently serving as Delivery Advisor to the Governor on Tourism and Managing Director of Ibom Hotel & Golf Resort, providing strategic oversight for the hotel renovation programme, tourism roadmap, tourism summit, and Christmas Unplugged, while leading the hotel’s brand transformation and operational reset.
